• Molar excess enthalpies and molar excess volumes are reported for binary mixtures of <I>n</I>-butyl alcohol with isobutyl alcohol, <I>sec</I>-butyl alcohol, and <I>t</I>-butyl alcohol. All of the measurements were carried out at 25°C except for the excess enthalpies of <I>n</I>-butyl alcohol–<I>t</I>-butyl alcohol which were determined at 26°C. Interpretation of the results in terms of a lattice model was investigated.
