The <I>G</I> values of a solvated electron produced by ionizing radiation from the (n,α) activation of boron and lithium were estimated to be 0.36 (±0.06) and 0.50 (±0.05) in neutral aqueous solutions (ClCH<SUB>2</SUB>COOH–N<SUB>2</SUB>O), and 0.24 (±0.05) and 0.46 (±0.05) in alkaline aqueous solutions (K<SUB>3</SUB>Fe(CN)<SUB>6</SUB>–NaOH), respectively.
