• A sesquiterpene from Geranium Bourbon has been found to be guaia-6,9-diene in accordance with the report of Pesnelle <I>et al.</I>; it had previously been erroneously assigned as 3,7-diene by Herout <I>et al.</I> The details of the evidence on the structure, along with its stereochemistry, are described.
