• From the heart wood of <I>Cinnamomum Camphora</I> Sieb., a new lignan, (−)-<I>trans</I>-2-(3,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-3-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)butyrolactone [I] and 3-hydroxy-5,7-dimethoxy-3′,4′-methylenedioxyflavan [IV], were isolated, and their structures were determined.
