右半身随及び青春早発症と合併した尿崩症の1例

A 12 year old male.<BR>Clinical findings: Urinary 17-Ketosteroid excretion 12.2~19.6mg/day. Thorn's test positive, BMR (-) 13%. Glucose torelance increased. Relative lymphocytosis & eosinophilia. Urinary output 6~12 l/day. Serum ADS (+) 4.9 (Lloyd). TRR 87.2%. No urinary retention by intravenous injection of hypertonic saline solution & nicotine.<BR>Postmortum examination releaved cystic tumor in left hemisphere, histologically it seemed expendymoma, of 1-hemisphere. Total defect of Capsula interna sinistra, Nucleus lentiformis & caudatus. Tuber cinreum & Tractus supraopticohypophyseus also destructed by infiltration of tumor cells. Pinea, pituitary & adrenal almost intact.
