Two cases of calcinosis cutis of the scrotum were experienced.<BR>Case 1: a 31-year-old male had had multiple hard nodules on the scrotum of 2-year duration, <BR>Case 2 : a 29-year-old male had had multiple nodules of 5-year-duration.<BR>The histologic sections of the two cases revealed great number of massive and small granular substance which stained deep blue with H & E and black with Von Kossa's stain. They were surrounded by inflammatory infiltrate mixed with foreign-body giant cells or thick fibrosis. No cystic structure contained the granular substance was demonstrated.<BR>Thus, the cases diagnosed as dystrophic type of calcium deposition. Nineteen cases available in the literature of Japan were reviewed.
