• A clinicopathological study was done on 73 patients with parotid tumors treated during the past nine years in the Department of Otolaryngology, Shikoku Cancer Center Hospital. In 28 cases the tumor was classified histologically as benign parotid tumor, in 21 cases as malignant, and in 24 cases as tumor of non-parotid gland origin. The pathology, diagnosis, therapy and prognosis in these cases were evaluated and discussed.
