A Case of Bronchial Foreign Body in Infant

This case is that of I year old boy who aspirated a nail into his bronchus about two months ago. Radiographic examination of the chest revealed a foreign body in the left bronchus and emphysema of the left lung. The foreign body was removed successfully by underbronchoscopy under general anesthesia. The lung returned to normal shortly thereafter.
