A Clinical Evaluation of Dicynone in the Otorhinolaryngological Field

The satisfactory clinical results in view of shortening the bleeding time and reducing the bleeding volume were obtained in 28 cases of the radical operation for chronic sinusitis, 36 cases of tonsillectomies and adenotomies and 16 cases of normal persons, respectively, administered by intramuscular injection of Dicynone, which was offered by Torii & Co, Ltd., and no side effects were noted.It was assumed that Dicynone ranks among the best antihaemorrhagic agent now at the service of the otorhinolaryngologist.
