• Paramesone (paramethasone) and Flucort Cream were used in several diseases of otolaryngology.Paramesone was effective to allergic rhinitis, cheilitis, aphthous stomatitis and eczema, but not so effective to vasomotor rhinitis and chronic sinusitis.It is interesting that Paramesone showed satisfactory results in each case of sudden deafness, Ménière's disease and progressive necrotic rhinitis.By applying Flucort Cream topically, the remarkable improvement was observed in 27 cases of eczema.We could not examine statistically the effect of the said two drugs, because these cases were very few.No major side effects were seen in these cases.
