• Isolated fractures of the greater multangular are rare.It occur in about 2 or 3 per cent of all fractures of the carpal bones. The fractures mechanism of trauma are almost evenly diviped between direct violence to the wrist and hand and falls on the hyperextended hand. We reported that the isolated fracture of greater was strongly compressed by the first, second metacarpal, small multangular and scaphoideus on radial deviation of the wrist.
