The authors had reported the results of Lorenz's method followed by Pavlik's bandage for 24 C. D. H. unreduced by Pavlik's bandage alone in 1976, showing poor results in 9 hips. After 3 years, the 9 hips with poor results showed anatomical healing in 5, epiphysitis in 2 and acetabular hypoplasia in 2 hips. Therefor, satisfactory results were finally obtained in 20 hips out of the 24 hips.Their method is thought to be a reliable one for C. D. H, unreduced by Pavlik's bandage alone.
