Twenty patients with knee osteoarthrosis who complain of severe gait pain were treated by wedge foot supports. An X-ray examination of the whole lower extremities was used to measure the following; inclination of the mechanical axis, tibio-femoral angle, crossing point of the mechanical axis of the knee level.Tibio-femoral angle and crossing point were not changed by wedge foot supports, but inclination of the mechanical axis was statistically clearly different between before and after using the supports.
