Asectic necrosis of the both femoral condyles is described in young man with nephrotic syndrome treated with systemic corticosteroids.Roentgenograms of the knees revealed sclerosis and opacification of the lateral condyle.Prolonged steroid therapy is thought to be the pathogenesis of the necrotic changes observed.Aseptic necrosis of bone associated with nephrotic syndrome is a less common observation.
