A case of primary hyperparathyroidism started in adolescent was reported. The patient was a 17-year-old female and complained of her knee pain and easy fatigability. Radiological examination revealed that widespread subperiosteal resorption appeared in the phalangeal cortex, medial aspect of the proximal tibia, humerus and other bones. Also, laboratory data showed remarkable hypercalcemia (12.7mg/dl) and hypophosphatemia (1.5mg/dl). A palpable tumor was recognized at her neck and it was clearly shownd by computerized tomography. After the double labeling with tetracycline, removal of this tumor and biopsy of the ileum were done. Histologically, this tumor was adenoma and the bone showed the typical fibrous ostitis.
