• Two cases of Charcot joint were reported and importance of treatment at an early stage was discussed.Case 1 was a 57-year-old male who developed destruction of the calcaneus due to neglected treatment of decreased Boehler angle found at the first examination.Case 2 was a 44-year-old male who had trimaleolar fracture of the ankle joint during walk following arthrodesis of the knee.These complications could have been prevented or diminished by early diagnosis and effective control, even through both cases recovered their walking ability after fusion and removal of burdens.
