• The purpose of this paper is to introduce our technique to perform correct positioning of the needle into the center of the disc for discography by means of CT analysis, and also to clarify usefulness of CT discography for diagnosis of lumbar disorders.The technique we have been using for discography is nearly same as reported, except in positioning of the needle into the disc we have taken CT analysis in order to determine correct place and angle of inserting the neelde.The subjects of this study are 105 discs of 58 cases with lumbar disorders.Comparative study of the findings among myelograms, discograms and CT-discograms was investigated.The results indicated that CT-discograms demonstrated the most clear findings among them and was useful in diagnosis of the lumbar disorders, especially in obtainning detail observation of herniated discs.
