• Since 1985, we have examined scoliosis of elemental school and junior high school students in lsahaya City.We screened 15665 students. The number of students who had more than 10° of Cobb angle was 306 (2.0%), and more than 15° was 106 (0.7%).We could follow up the natural history on roentgenograms in 18 cases (11.6%) out of 155 progressed cases.The chronological age and bone age of these cases were younger than non-progressed cases.There were many cases that drepped out during our following. We need to reduce the dropout cases.
