• During the recent 8 years, 8 cases of pyogenic spondylitis were seen at my clinic. They complained of tolerable pain, but often remained afebrile.Positive X-ray findings were recognized at 3-4 weeks after onset.MRI showed some changes from the early days.Concerning the treatment, they got good results with a conservative treatment. In conclusion, it is necessary to suspect pyogenic spondylitis if the inflammatory signs of the blood and tolerable pain are noticed.
