We report on 21 cases with femoral neck fractures in patients aged over 90 years treated during the past 5 years. Twenty cases were female, and one male, and their ages ranged from 90 to 96 years (average, 92.7 years).Patients aged over 90 years account for 11.3% of the population aged over 65 years. At the latest follow-up, 11 patients were alive, and 10 patients were dead.Early Surgical treatment and early post-operative rehabilitation are important factors for achieving a better prognosis. In addition, it is important to try to achieve good ADL function after discharge.
