This paper intends to be a resume of the Symposium of the Japan MacroEngineers Society in 2000 (Co-host organization :Research Institute of Science and Technology of Waseda University(Waseda Rikou Souken), Cosponsored organizations : Peat Research Group, Yokkaichi University) The introductive remarks are regarding the international collaborative programs on environment issues in which some procedures explain from the side of Japan as the sole industrialized advanced country in Asia. The desirable programs are to be composed of two-sided indispensable elements: technological assistance and socio-economic systems to operate them.The concrete projects and plans are overviewed: (1)a diagnosis model of deserts that is urgent issue for inhabitants in north west of China, (2)a reclamation method of alkaline soil due to primarily coal-oriented consumption in China, (2)bio-village construction in the area provided with the devastated pastoral ecology in China, (4)various international setups of research and development of multi-trees, shaji (seabackthorn) :FAO-UN organization, Department of Water Supplies in China, business operations of medicine food utilization in Huang-Te Highlands.
