The bilateral cooperation to Indonesia is carried out by ODA (Official Development Assistance) through JICA(Japan International Cooperation Agency) and Green Aid Plan etc. in the various fields. For example, JICA dispatched over 11%of expert to Indonesia included 40 experts of agriculture from total 1, 552 experts of year 2000. And by the Green Aid Plan, coal briquette, bio-briquette, fluidized bed coal combustion, coalmine development etc. are carrying out. The research and development cooperation on coal such as coal liquefaction, coal gasification are also carrying out by Japanese cooperation. In Indonesia, there are abundant energy resources such as oil, natural gas and coal, however the deposit of oil decreases year by year, so that Indonesia planed to develop coal to alternative energy of future domestic use. And, also planning to the installation of numerous big scale electric power generation facilities by coal fired. On the other hand import of a part of main crops is increasing recently and agriculture development including development and improvement of farmland is a matter of great importance. The effectiveness of desulfurized residue of coal combustion on improve polarized farmland was proven. In this paper, a view of possibility on these synergistic effect in Indonesia and has taken a firm hold in Indonesia society are examined.
