By the increasing use of fossil fuels, the carbon dioxide concentration is increasing steadily and it induces the global warming which leads to the climate change. Therefore we faced many disasters like typhoons, floods and drought. Biomass is grown by photosynthesis with carbon dioxide and water and recently it is highlighted as a carbon sink, clean, sustainable and renewable energy source. In this paper the authors will present the production of clean energy fuels from food waste and agricultural byproducts.
