It is hardly difficult to expect that China will discontinue use of fossil fuels. Even though China plans to build multiple nuclear power plants in the foreseeable future, she would continue expanding consumption of fossil fuels especially coal and natural gas. The author proposes China parallel use of fossil and new energies to improve her miserable environments. Chinese coal industry is financially sound to invest R & D of new energy field now. Not only China but also any country may set an upper limit on value of fossil fuel consumption and her surplus should be covered by new energies. DME synthesis technology must be adopted to reduce coalmine gas accidents in China where 6000 workers die annually.
