• We have tried to make a new type sizing equipment. It pastes the powder put on the yarn by air-flow.<BR>Against the sizing by applying water or solvent, we achieved the sizing of the yarn in efficiency by air-flow, with powder.<BR>Results obtained are as follows:<BR>(1) By using this equipment, we obtained the sized yarn without water or solvent.<BR>(2) The new method is named as “air sizing” and has been proved useful for the spun yarn, but it has some faults. Further details will be published latter.
