Under a diversification tendency of a family, the elderly people's family relationship is becoming an alternative based on voluntary ties and needs. This paper presents a case study focusing on examining sibling relationship, its activating factors and the evolving processes during an aging period. The finding showed that there are different behaviors in dealing with sibling relationships although the factors are the same. Moreover, the statistic data also revealed that the interactions among factors are accumulating or overloading. Furthermore, it was also found that the main factors affecting sibling relationships resulted from the degree of their relations in their childhood and some events shared in their lives. In a model society with aging and privatization, it is becoming necessary for each older man to reconstruct the life meaning. In this activity, a sibling relationship topic was selected to examine the aging problem. The study of the sibling relationship is of significant functions when a modern society is becoming a rapidly aging and would continue to be in the future.
