There are various conditions of father's involvement in childcare in social systems. This paper employs a qualitative nalysis method, with the focus on the paternity relationship, to examine father's roles in child-rearing and his family relationship. With the changes of father's role, one of the factors control their involvement in childcare is the paternity relationship as a dependent variable of family interactions. The reasons for father's participating in childrearing depend on the environment of father's growing-up, on the sense of values and on the recognitions derived from the relationship with his farther. Briefly, in either positive or negative recognitions of father's involvement in childcare, the paternity effects on fatherchild relationship have been found; moreover, father's occupation and how he related to his father as the main dependent variables influence the current child-rearing participations. In this study, according to the paternity relationship, father's types are coded into three models of the modeling, the compensation and the neutral.
