• We have perfected a new type of spinning equipment which does not use a ring, traveller or pot. It uses air-flow and twists by a method basically different from the twisting method in a ring spinning frame.<BR> This equipment twists fibers broken loose from a roving to form a yarn, and immediately winds the yarn in cheese form. Its spindle revolutions are over 20 000 r.p.m.<BR> The yarn spun by this equipment has some fault, especially in strength and elongation of the yarn, compared with ring-spun yarns.
