• The statics of the roller type warp let-off apparatus used for more uniform fabrics have been analysed, and the characteristic of the static friction of the warp on the rubber rollers or between them has been studied experimentally.<BR>The conclusions are as follows:<BR>1) Three rollers of the type now used have enough power to hold warps.<BR>2) By increasing the eccentricity of the second roller, the power to hold warps can be increased.<BR>The coefficient of the static friction of warps on the rollers is nearly twice as much as that of warps between the two rollers.
