This paper aims to test multidimensional Thurstonian scaling model-a multidimensional analogue of the Thurstone's judgement scaling model. A color recognition experiment was performed with a set of nine Munsell color stimuli by a method of tetrads. Based on a set of observed probabilities the nine stimuli were scaled according to the model. The derived configuration was similar to the configurations obtained by other MDS procedures. Examination of the test result showed that the model was minimally valid for the color difference judgement.
