The perception mechanism of motion after-effect is proposed, which includes a detector, a subjective controller, and a follower. Using Newton's law of motion. we can calculate the responses of this system quantitatively. Existing data confirm this model. From this model, we can also define the hypnotic state, the awakened state and quasi-hypnotic state.
