So far as we are aware, little is known of the works dealing with the higher molecular substance an tuberculous urine, while a number of s tudies on urines of healthy persons, nephro-patients or patients with cancer have been extensively made from biological, physical and chemical points of view by a number of authors, as Westall, Stein, Steger, Nakagawa, Masamune, Maxfield, Gabriel and many others.<BR>Hence the present work was undertaken to study both the material (S3-fraction) unadsorbable by benzoic acid, obtained from urine of far advanced pulmonary tuberculous cases as well as normal controls, and the seven effluent fractions (F1-F7) further isolated from the above S3-fraction by DEAE-cellulose column chromatography.
