• Dipole resonance of cylindrical plasma column was considered in the case that it was inbedded in a plasma and external magnetic field was applied parallely to the axis of this column. They are treated quasi-statically and the wave number to the magnetic field k<SUB>z</SUB> was assumed to be very small and equal to zero. It is shown that the resonant frequency in the absence of external magnetic field increased as the density of external plasma increased. These results were compared.with an earlier experiment.
