Numerology of neturon sources is studied. The combination of an ion-beam and a target, gas or otherwise does not appear to give a sufficient neutron flux., The neutralized beam or the plasma approach seems more promising. However, these methods share many problems associated, with plasma confinement. A possible method, DOCH pumped mirror, is discussed. It appears promising. However, further studies are needed before the feasibility of the method becomes convincing.
