The previous report have shown that no linear relationship between their physical properties and mixing ratio was based on heterogeneous system and their relationships will depend on the mixing method.In this report, the effect of the mixing method on the NR-SBR system was studied and it was found that there were nothing remarkable about physical properties and crystallinity in either of the changes in plasticity of the both raw rubbers or the mixing of the both master-batches. And it was thought that under the ordinary mixing operation on the open mill, although natural rubber and butadiene-styrene rubber can be easily blended to a definite limit, the homogeneous mixing over the limit is very defficult.On the other hand, when the both raw rubbers was mixed on the open mill by the use of benzene to decrease the intermolecular force of rubbers, the crystallinity of natural rubber in the NR-SBR system showed the very low value compared with that in the case of the general mixing operation on the open mill.The similar results also recognized by mixing with oleinic acid or stearic acid on the open mill.
