• Nine kindes of quaternary ammonium compounds were prepared from di-hydroxyethylaminoethyl terpenyl ether and terpenyl bromides which was obtained by bromination of terpene alcohols such as dihydrocitronellol, citronellol, geraniol, isoborneol with hydrobromic acid. Triethanolamine terpenyl ether was prepared from monosodium triethanolaminate and terpenyl bromides.<BR>Antimicrobial activities of these quaternary ammonium compounds were investigated.
