The author attempted to inspect three cases of skull base fracture caused by traffic accidents, about their recovery.<BR>Examined next symptoms:<BR>1. hemorrhage from the ears, nose and mouth<BR>2. consciousness<BR>3. change in toe pupils<BR>4. tendon-reflex<BR>5. spinal hemorrhage<BR>6. fractured line appeared on X-ray photograph<BR>7. efflux of cerebrospinal humor through the nose and ears, etc.<BR>8. symptoms remained<BR>a. headache, b. hypacusia, c. noise in the ear, d. vertigo, e. anosmia, f. facial nerve paralysis, etc.<BR>One of these cases was very serious, the patient remained unconscious for more than 10 days. The recovery in such serious cases is quite rare.
