• (1) After the intramuscular injection of T<SUB>3</SUB>, T<SUB>4</SUB> was increased in the anterior hypothalamus, and T3 in the hypophysis.<BR>(2) Two hrs. after the intramuscular injection of T<SUB>4</SUB>, 2 fold increase of T<SUB>4</SUB> and 3 fold of T<SUB>3</SUB> were seen in the anterior hypothalamus, while in the hypophysis, T<SUB>4</SUB> increased 3 times, and T<SUB>3</SUB> 4 times. No change was observed in the medial and the posterior hypothalamus.<BR>(3) T<SUB>3</SUB> and T<SUB>4</SUB> are considered to constitute feedback type mechanism with TRF and TSH, respectively.
