Description is given of the operating conditions of Perkin-Elmer Flamephotometer 52 C-type in both of internal standard method and direct method. The highest precision and accuracy are obtained with optimum pressures of about 1.2 and 2 atm. for acetylene gas and compressed air respectively and with the concentration range of solution between 20 and 70 ppm for each elements. In this method two operators have worked out about 700 samples in one month. In comparing these results with those of Lange's Flamephotometer, good agreements are obtained.
