• Infrared absorption of heavy water is measured in the range of 25°-80°C and comparison is made between 3μ absorption band and 4μ absorption band in regard to the temperature dependence of the shape and intensity of spectrum.The results are discussed on the bases of breakdown of ice structure in liquid water and difference in molecular association between H<SUB>2</SUB>O and D<SUB>2</SUB>O.
