• Monoclonal Antibodies raised against transition state analogs have been shown to catalyze a number of reactions and so far more than fifty examples catalyzed by antibodies have been reported.<BR>The Research on Catalytic Antibody promises the advance in understanding reaction mechanisms and molecular recognition and their applications in biotechnology and medicine.<BR>This review will descrive the recent advances in the field of catalytic antibodies and discuss their potential applications to organic chemistry and medicine.
