• In order to make contributions to our knowledge of various effect of chemicals on fish, young carps were kept in the water which contains various chemical substance with various concentrations, and their responses in accordance with time were observed. The results were analysed by the probit analysis using the probability paper. In Fig. 3, the relationship between the concentration of chemicals and the mean survival time is shown.
