• DDT [2, 2 bis-(p-Chlorophenyl) 1, 1, 1 trichloroethane] is proved not effective for net preservation (Tab. 1-3, Fig. 1, 2). This may be due to its lack of both an ?? iseptic power for bacteria and affinity to cotton fibre.
