• The reserches on Insulin of the animals and the islet tissue of the fishes, have been done by many workers, but almost not done on that from marine mammals. As resources of Insulin we examined about the marine mammals (Seal, Fin whale, Spern whale, in Hokkaido) improved the extraction of insulin from the marine mammalian pancreases, and obtained a pure white powder wich could be used immediately for medicine.
