We studied on the freezing and melting of acidified ice. The results of experiment show that (1) there is no relation pH and freezing point, (2) the more the acid is added the more the freezing point depresses, but the solution slightly acidified with HC1 freezes at 0°C (Fig. 1), (3) in the first stage of freezing the water begins to freeze and rhe acid concentration of residual solution increase, (4) the pH of the elute is high at first but in the elaption of time it begins to depress and at last to increase again.
