1. Influence of rain-water and thaw is observed. Directly after rain, Cl, N2O5-N and Consumption of KMnO4 increase, and Organic-N decease. Other elements, especially P2O5, are diluted at first show a tendency to increase for 1-3 days after rain. Only SiO2 is affected little. 2. Phytoplankton and sessile micro-plants growing on a cube of Cement (5×5×5cm) are determined by Harvey's pigment method at every three weeks from Nov. 1941 to Oct. 1942. These results are illustrated by following figures. Relation of quantity of pingent and precipitating volume, growing velocity, required nutrient salts are discussed. In June plants show the maximum growth, and sessile plants require 1mg P2O5, 300mg SiO2 and 3mg N per a square meter a day.
