• Penaeopsis affinis, "Moebi", is a commercially important prawn found abundantly on the coasts of Ise- and Mikawa-Bay. In the present paper the authors dealt with the prawn with regard to its habitat, breeding season, habits of young, growth and migration as well as its propagation and protection.
