Two special forms of moraine observed in the Nepal Himalayas are reported. The moraine smoothly in contact with the valley wall was observed in Gyajo Valley in the Khumbu Region. It could be distinguished from an alluvial fan or talus. A partially doubled moraine ridge was observed around the Ama Dablam Glacier (Glacier ED 590) in the Khumbu Region and the Dudh Kund Glacier (Glacier AX 050) in the Shorong Region. Both of them might be the results of the modification of lateral moraines.
