• By the present case, when the tracheotomy was carried out under the diagnosis of tracheal foreign body on account of cough attack, dyspnea, cyanosis etc. caused by aspiration of caramel, an unticipated obsolete intratracheal foreign body of rubber balloon was found out, and moreover this rare case succeeded fortunately in the extraction of foreign body from the tracheotomic opening without asphyxia. From the reference of the reports on the tracheal foreign body of rubber balloon in our country, we conclude that doctors should accelerate the attention of all people to the danger of rubber balloon.
