• The actual conditions of outpatients have been clarified in the part by the statistical data prepared by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. More recently we have often found reports prepared by physicians and technicians in charge of statistics at large hospitals and clinics.The condition of the Dental Clinic of our hospital, during 1955 to 1959, was reported by Dr. Matsuo, concerning the need for proper treatment of patients and improve the accomplishment of the daily business of the hospital. Subsequently, along with the enforcement of the National Health Insurance Program throughout the entire nation, it can be presumed that there have been some changes in the examination of different classes of patients, and also, changes in the development of various types of preventive medicine. Therefore, after considering the changes of the actual conditions of patients during the past three years, from 1960 to 1962, we have prepared this report.
